Bayou Blacksmithing

Join us for our new Bayou Blacksmithing program! How it works: After checking in at the front desk, you’ll take a short walk to our blacksmith forge and woodshop. There, you will meet our resident blackmiths who will teach you some of the basic blacksmithing principles. Then get ready to swing a hammer! Our blacksmiths will guide you through the process of shaping your piece. At the end of the program, you’ll get to take your project home with you! This program is meant to be a very basic introduction to the fascinating art of blacksmithing.
