Cross Montgomery
July 16-18. The purpose of Cross Montgomery is for the family of First Montgomery to live out #lovefirst in our community through prayer, compassionate acts of service, and loving acts of kindness. Details Subject to Change. Cross Montgomery Schedule (unless specified otherwise by team leader): -8:30am: Breakfast and Worship -9:00am: Teams go out -Lunch will be available starting at 11:00am -Ending time depends on the team Team Descriptions: Cookie Drop Team: This team will be taking cookies to local business and offering prayer and encouragement. Acts of Kindness Team: This team will be going to local grocery stores and maybe restaurants to pay for food for people in our community. Prayer Team: This team will be responsible for leading the church to pray for Cross Montgomery both beforehand during the week.Β They will also be doing prayer walking in strategic areas throughout the city.Β This team is the foundation for all that will be happening in Cross Montgomery. Photography Team: This team will be responsible for publicity prior to the week and for documenting the week through photography and video.Β Parks Team: This team will be going to local parks to provide water and snacks to families here in Montgomery. Outreach Team: This team will be our evangelism team. They will split up and go out with the other teams ready to share the gospel with anyone they come across. Food Team: This team will be responsible for coordinating the food for daily lunches & the meal during the evangelistic event.Β Construction Team:This team will be doing small construction projects for members of our community. Assisted Living Team (Saturday only): This team will be visiting local nursing homes and assisted living centers to provide fellowship and share the love of Christ with those who may not be able to make it to church.
