Cross Montgomery 2026

July 16-18. The purpose of Cross Montgomery is for the family of First Montgomery to live out #lovefirst in our community through prayer, compassionate acts of service, and loving acts of kindness. Cross Montgomery Schedule (unless specified otherwise by team leader): -8:30am: Breakfast and Worship -9:00am: Teams go out -Lunch will be available starting at 11:00am -Ending time depends on the team Team Descriptions: Cookie Drop Team: This team will be taking cookies to local business and offering prayer and encouragement. (Thursday & Friday Only) Acts of Kindness Team: This team will be going to local grocery stores to pay for groceries and take groceries to people's cars. Prayer Team: This team will be responsible for leading the church to pray for Cross Montgomery both beforehand during the week. They will also be doing prayer walking in strategic areas throughout the city. This team is the foundation for all that will be happening in Cross Montgomery. Parks Team: This team will be going to local parks to provide water and snacks to families here in Montgomery. Outreach Team: This team will be our evangelism team. They will split up and go out with the other teams ready to share the gospel with anyone they come across. Food Team: This team will be responsible for coordinating the food for daily lunches & the meal during the evangelistic event.  Construction Team:This team will be doing small construction projects for members of our community. Assisted Living Team: This team will be visiting local nursing homes and assisted living centers to provide fellowship and share the love of Christ with those who may not be able to make it to church. Bounce House in Neighborhood (Saturday Only): Neighborhood to be announced. This team will go to a neighborhood to help with a bounce house event.
