Art Coastal: Skate Art, Abstract, Art History & More

Our one-week camp features heirloom-quality art projects that will have your little artist thinking outside the box—and coloring outside the lines! Our art classes are anything but ordinary—think Picasso meets Pollock, where abstract expression meets fearless imagination. We use everything from straws to blow paint into “funky hairstyles” on canvas, explore goal-setting through Neuro-Graphic Art, and transform recycled cardboard into bold Picasso-inspired self-portraits. Students will also create their own painted skate decks, design custom grip tape, and craft jeweled laces for their roller skates. Each class weaves together art history, self-expression, and a sense of pure, joyful freedom. Curriculum Highlights: Neuro-Graphic Art for creativity and mindfulness Picasso-inspired recycled self-portraits Painted skate decks Custom grip tape design Mixed-media “funky hair” canvas art Jeweled roller skate lace creations Art history integration and creative exploration
