Lego Spike Lab (Ages 8-14)

Kids ages 8–14 are invited to join us for a hands-on robotics program where creativity meets coding. Participants will work together using LEGO Spike kits to design, build, and program robots that can complete challenges and navigate an obstacle course. Throughout the series, students will learn the basics of robotics, engineering, and coding while testing and improving their designs. The program will lead up to a mock robotics competition at the end of the summer, where teams will put their robots to the test. This program is led by the Innovation Treehouse team, who will guide participants through building, coding, and problem-solving. Participation in all or most of the sessions is encouraged, as the skills learned each week will help prepare teams for the final competition. No prior experience is required—just curiosity and a willingness to learn.
