Level 1: Splash - an Introduction to Water Skills

A class where students learn to feel comfortable and safe in the water. In this class students will practice skills such as entering and exiting the pool, blowing bubbles, floating on their front and back, kicking, basic arm and leg movements, and reaching the wall independently. Little to no water experience needed - Class designed for beginners ages 3 to 5. Children should be able to follow simple instructions and participate without a parent. No prior swimming skills such as floating, kicking, or submerging required. Class Placement is based on age and ability. Repeating sessions is encouraged. Register for new sessions after completing the current session. Instructors bring experience in competitive water polo, competitive swimming, and coaching at the college, high school, and club levels.
