Location: 241 S FM 548, Forney, TX 75126
The local pick. Water spray features modeled after a grain elevator silo — nod to Forney's farming heritage. Shaded area around the perimeter. Pair with the park's playgrounds, sports fields, and trails for a half-day visit.

Parent tip: Open 10am-8pm, Memorial Day through Labor Day. Morning visits are less crowded.

2. Clay Mathis Park Spray Zone (Mesquite) (Mesquite)
Location: 2181 Clay Mathis Rd, Mesquite, TX 75181
Mesquite's first spray zone — single-pass fresh water system (not recirculated), automatic timers, picnic tables, BBQ grills, and a basketball court on-site. The fresh-water-not-recirculated detail matters if you have kids with sensitive skin.
Good to know: splash pad, pavilion.
Parent tip: Open 8am-8pm, May 1 through September 30. Picnic tables with grills are first-come.

3. Evans Park Spray Zone (Mesquite) (Mesquite)
Location: 1112 Hillcrest Dr, Mesquite, TX 75149
Upward spray nozzles and whimsical downward showers — character pieces that hold kids' attention longer than a generic spray pad. Pavilions available for reservation if you want a birthday-party setup.
Good to know: splash pad, pavilion.
Parent tip: Open 10am-8pm, May through September. Pavilion reservations through Mesquite parks website.
4. The Park at Foxchase Splash Pad (Rockwall) (Rockwall)
Location: 4475 Tubbs Rd, Rockwall, TX 75032
One of three Rockwall city spraygrounds — neighborhood setting, splash pad with adjacent playground, picnic areas, scenic trails, multipurpose ballfield, and basketball court. The least-crowded of Rockwall's three pads.
Good to know: splash pad, playground, ball fields, trails, pavilion.
Parent tip: Open March through October. Often empty on weekday mornings — a good pick if you want the kids to have the pad to themselves.

5. The Park at Hickory Ridge Splash Pad (Rockwall) (Rockwall)
Location: 1910 Walnut Ridge Dr, Rockwall, TX 75087
13-acre Rockwall park with a splash pad, playground, pickleball courts, basketball court, and well-shaded perimeter benches. Less crowded than Rockwall's flagship Harry Myers pad.

Parent tip: Open March through October. Good fallback when Harry Myers is packed on a hot Saturday.
6. Harry Myers Park Splash Pad (Rockwall) (Rockwall)
Location: 815 E Washington St, Rockwall, TX 75087
Rockwall's flagship splash pad — fountains, sprayers, a water gun, and a tipping bucket feature. The surrounding 60-acre park has a dog park, baseball fields, and an amphitheater, so siblings of all ages find something.
Good to know: splash pad, playground, swings, ball fields, trails, fishing pond, pavilion, restrooms, dog park.
Parent tip: Open March through October — longer season than the smaller Forney and Mesquite pads. Mornings before 11am are calmest.
