Make the Magic: Design for the Stage

This class will go over the basic disciplines within stage production. Students will design the set, lighting and costumes for a play of their choosing then create a set model. Lessons will include safety for the stage, stagecraft tools and methods, DMX protocol, script analysis and scenic painting. This is a hands-on class meant to introduce participants to theater technology in a fun creative bite size way. The class will culminate with an informal showcase of work done in the class for friends and family.
