Smithville Americana 4th of July Celebration

Full-day July 4th celebration throughout historic downtown Smithville and at the VFW Hall. Morning kicks off with a kids bicycle decoration contest at Railroad Park (9:30am) followed by the Fourth of July Parade on Main Street (10:30am). Afternoon at the VFW features water slides, cornhole tournament, face painting, and local vendors starting at 3pm. Free hot dogs, chips, and drinks at 5pm. Musical entertainment and dancing at 6:30pm, fireworks show at 9pm sponsored by State Rep. Stan Gerdes.
