Summer Farm Camp

Registration Will Open April 1, 2026 Farm Camp is a hands-on day camp where youth receive a fun and meaningful introduction to life on the farm at the Shasta High School District's 20-acre Farm. Campers learn through daily farm chores, agriculture lessons, homesteading activities, animal care, and visits from guest speakers while exploring where food comes from and how farms operate. Farm Camp is open to new registrants who did not participate in Farm Camp during the 2024–2025 program year. Farm Hands is a hands-on farm program hosted at the Shasta College Farm for teens ages 11–15. Designed for participants ready to take the next step beyond introductory farm experiences, Farm Hands focuses on real-world agriculture and farming practices. Teens will engage in more advanced farm chores, and lessons on livestock management, crop production, and agricultural education that reflects Please note: Due to the nature of farm activities, all campers must wear boots or tennis shoes and jeans or leggings each day. Campers are required to bring a hearty lunch, two separate snacks, and a refillable water bottle. We highly encourage campers to bring a hat, and sunscreen is required.
