Get ready for a summer full of creativity, fun, and learning! Join Kelsi Smith, a passionate preschool teacher, for an exciting art camp designed for young artists. Each week, campers will explore a variety of different art projects, from painting and drawing to crafting and sculpting. With a fresh and fun theme each week, kids will have the opportunity to express themselves, build new skills, and create amazing pieces of art. Details: When: Every Tuesday from 9AM to 2PM. June 3rd to July 21st. Where: Ellis Park Train Station Grades: K - 4th Note: Kids must bring a packed lunch and water bottle. Refrigeration is available. Sign-ups are on a per day/week basis. If you need to cancel, cancellations must be made within 2 days for a full refund. Themes for each week: Week 1 - Color Magic - All about breaking the rules and letting creativity run wild—hot pink zebras? Yes! Yellow grass? Absolutely! The brighter, bolder, and wilder the better! Week 2 - Masterpiece Makers - Diving into the world of famous artists and creating colorful, imaginative versions. It’s a fun mix of art history and hands-on creativity that lets little artists make masterpieces of their very own Week 3 - Royal Realms - Step into a world of magical adventure full of castles, dragons, princesses, catapults and treasure. Week 4 - Nature Makers - From birdhouses to sun catchers and tinkly windchimes, this class is all about crafting cheerful projects that bring a little outside magic to life. Week 5 - Handmade Accessories - Creating pieces like tote bags, hats, sunglasses, and jewelry, that are as bold and fun as summer days. Week 6 - Sculpture Studio - Using creativity to transform everyday items into magnificent, bold, colorful sculptures. Week 7 - Cosmic Creators - Channeling inner astronauts, designing rockets, creating swirling galaxies and aiming high for the stars. Week 8 - Happy Little Messes - Letting creativity run wild with splatters, spins, and joyful splats in a rainbow of bold colors and sparkles. Kids will use big imaginations while getting a little messy.
