Teens gain valuable leadership skills and hands-on work experience as Leaders-In-Training (L.I.T.) in the Camper Cubs, Bull Frogs, Grasshoppers, Sea Turtles, Sunshine Kids, and Adventure Camp day camps. Each two-week session includes training in game leadership, program planning, leading camp songs, participant safety procedures, field trip supervision, and interview techniques. L.I.T. participants will experience camp leadership firsthand as they work alongside a Day Camp Leader and attend one field trip. Please note that field trip days may extend past 2:00 PM and are subject to change. Participation in the L.I.T. program does not guarantee future employment, but teens will gain meaningful training and experience. Teens may register for only one session.
