The Legend of Zelda Scratch Game Development

Step into the world of game design and create your own adventure inspired by Nintendo's The Legend of Zelda, using Scratch! In this hands-on workshop, participants will learn the basics of coding while building a simple action game where characters move through a map, collect items, and avoid obstacles. Participants will explore key game design concepts such as sprites, movement controls, events, and simple game logic. By the end of the session, each participant will have created their own playable mini-game and gained a fun introduction to coding and game development. This program is perfect for kids and teens who enjoy video games, storytelling, and creative technology. No prior coding experience is required. Please note, this is a single event spanning two days, 1:00 - 2:30 PM Thursday and Friday, requiring attendance for both days.
