Liberty by the Lake - Independence Day Parade

Celebrate America’s 250th Anniversary at The Colony’s Independence Day Parade. The parade begins at 10:00 AM at Peters Colony Elementary and travels to the back parking lot of The Colony High School. This year’s theme honors the 250th anniversary of the United States, and participants are encouraged to decorate accordingly. Parade lineup begins at 9 a.m. Float entry registration opens May 4, 2026 at 8 a.m. All entries must be decorated to qualify for judging. Trophies and cash prizes will be awarded. The Grand Marshal will be announced soon.
