Discovery Day: Prehistoric Life

Step back in time at our next Discovery Day as we explore the fascinating prehistoric world connected to our summer exhibition, Ice Age in the Wild. This family-friendly event invites visitors of all ages to discover the landscapes, wildlife, and larger-than-life creatures that once roamed North America. Meet experts from the National Park Service, UT paleontologists, the Gault School of Archaeological Research and more as they share fossils, artifacts and hands-on activities that bring the Ice Age to life. Guests can dig deeper into the science of prehistoric ecosystems through interactive exhibits, crafts, face painting and live demonstrations designed for curious minds of all ages.
