Sea Lion
Watch as our Trainers work with our sea lions, asking them to perform a variety of behaviors to check on their health and wellbeing. Listen to the education team explain why these sessions are an important part of the care we offer our animals, and how it relates to their wild counterparts! Sea lions are expert freedivers. They are brilliant at holding their breath. Some can even hold their breath for up to 20 minutes. Sea lions are not seals while they look similar. Sea lions have little ears (seals only have ear holes), longer flippers and are generally a lot rowdier than their seal counterparts.
