A sensory, hands-on learning experience of the wonders of the garden for children and their parents. Come join in the fun of caring for nature in our creative GROW-EAT-MAKE-PEACE playspace for children. We’ve designed this outdoor classroom for children to explore and connect with The Ecology Center’s beautiful, vibrant landscape. Children ages 1 through 5 and parents will help care for our gardens, save and plant seeds, enjoy a taste from the farm, protect indigenous plants, build shelters and fairy houses, and make beautiful arts and crafts from nature’s bounty. Tickets can be purchased online for $25 per admission; an accompanying adult enters at no cost. Cost: $25 for a single admission. An accompanying adult enters at no cost. Tickets become available online in a rolling window up to one month in advance of today’s date. Ages: Families with children ages 1 through 5. Tickets are not required for infants-in-arms or in-stroller. Cancellation Policy: Full refund for withdrawal up to 3 days before the program begins. We are unable to offer makeup classes or refunds for missed sessions. Tickets are not transferrable. Our program is designed to proceed rain or shine, ensuring that participants can make the most of every session. In the event of extreme weather conditions, 24-48 hour advance notice by The Ecology Center will be provided in which case a refund will be issued, only for days deemed unsafe. The Ecology Center reserves the right to refund tickets purchased for upcoming dates without warning in case of facility maintenance or other farm programming that will use the space. The Ecology Center is a place where education, adventure, and environmental stewardship meet, inviting children to grow with the rhythms of nature.
