Learn to Surf Fish at Padre Island National Seashore

A free family-friendly fishing program at Malaquite Beach. Beginners learn tackle, casting techniques, stewardship, and conservation from Park Rangers and volunteer Fishing Ambassadors. Includes a classroom session followed by 45-60 minutes of actual fishing. All equipment provided. Registration required by calling 361-949-8068 starting 7 days before the event.
