Family Discovery Saturdays

The public is invited to join VC's Museum of the Coastal Bend for family-friendly activities on Saturdays. Join us for Family Discovery Saturdays this summer as we celebrate life and history in the Coastal Bend! We’ll kick off the summer with the opening of our Native Plant Garden exhibit making bee houses, herbal teas, and more. Saturdays in June and July will focus on history highlighting the Early Peoples of Texas and the European exploration and colonization of this region. Make pottery, learn about stone tools, sharpen your knot-tying skills, make a boat that floats and other activities.
