Barkology for Kids

Barkology for kids is a dog safety training program designed for children of all ages, but generally for children 3 1/2 years to 12 years old. Children will learn and practice safety with dogs, learn basic dog training principles, and learn how to respect and develop healthy relationships with them. The session begins with a short introduction followed by a story time reading of the Barkology for Kids book. The book explains safety and training protocols and acts as a fun, kid friendly introduction to the topics. The next part of the session introduces hands-on skills development activities. Attendees have the opportunity to practice the knowledge they've acquired in a risk-free environment, using stuffed toy dogs.This class is not for dogs. This is a single 1-hour class.
