Richardson Urban Naturalist: Wildlife Presentation

Each child must be registered. Parents are free to attend and do not need to register. Beat the summer heat and join us for a special interactive wildlife experience as Wild Things Zoofari brings the zoo right to you - indoors at Huffhines Recreation Center! Participants will meet a variety of live animals from around the world, which may include lemurs, kangaroos, toucans, and even Flower the skunk. Led by experienced animal educators, this program introduces children and families to the unique characteristics, habitats, and behaviors of each species while emphasizing the importance of wildlife conservation. Through up-close encounters and engaging stories, participants will gain a deeper understanding of the natural world and be inspired to develop a lifelong appreciation for animals and nature. This program is a fun and memorable way for kids to connect with wildlife, ask questions, and discover how they can help protect the environment right here in their own community and beyond.
