Grandfriend Clay Day

Spend an afternoon creating and exploring with clay alongside your special grandfriend. A grandfriend can be a grandchild, great (or great-great!) grandchild, family friend, or other special young person in your life. In this two-hour workshop, participants will have the opportunity to create one or two handmade ceramic pieces, such as a plate, bowl, or cup. You'll learn basic clay-shaping techniques to bring your ideas to life, then personalize your creations with a decorative glaze in the colors of your choice. The glaze will add both vibrant color and a glossy finish to your finished masterpieces. This activity is for children ages 7 & up, accompanied by an adult ages 50 & up.Each individual, child and adult, must register.No experience needed.All materials are included. Wear clothes you don't mind getting messy!
