Teen Swim - 9:00 A.M.

This class is for teen beginners with little or no experience in the water and for teens who have successfully completed Level 1 or have comparable skills. This class will focus on water exploration, elementary skills, safety skills and begin to add movement in the water. Participants will gain more confidence in the water and expand their ability.- Enter and exit the water independently using ladder, steps, and stairs- Bob 5x- Glide on front and back 2 body lengths- Front and back float 5 seconds- Combined front swim introduction- Elementary backstroke introduction- Improve introductory skills- Glide on front and back 3 body lengths- Float on front and back 10-15 seconds- Step or jump into chest-deep water- Combined swim front 3 body lengths with breathing- Introduction to back crawl arm and leg action- Treading water introduction- Water SafetyIrving Learn to Swim Website
