Tween Summer Adventure Camp: Week 4: July 6-10
Tween Summer Adventure Camp is almost HERE!! NEW LOCATION: Camp will be at Longfellow Park, 520 Lincoln Ave. Our week long sessions are FUN, engaging, educational and recreational. Each week offers affordable and well-supervised program includes an 2 AWESOME field trip, plus local walking excursions, arts and crafts, sports, outdoor physical games, special events and much more! Your tween will make new friends, try new and exciting activities and leave with amazing memories. Registration is available per week (no single days allowed). Week 4: 7/7 - 7/11 Time: 8:00 a.m. - 5:30 p.m.Mon.: Longfellow ParkTue.: Longfellow Park Wed.: Longfellow Park, OMCA & MADE Museums, OaklandThurs: White Water Rafting , 8:00 a.m. - 8:00 p.m. Fri.: Longfellow ParkCamp will be at Longfellow Park, 8:00 a.m. - 5:30 p.m.. Please send your child with a packed lunch and refillable water bottle. Simple Snack (trail mix, granola bar and fruit) will be provided in the morning and afternoon. Additional snacks (candy bars, chips and Gatorade) will be available for purchase at Teen Camp Store.On Tuesday Depending on Trip participants will be off site for Local Trip from 9:00 am to 4:30- 5:00 pm, please make sure participants is on site before 9:00 am*On Thursday July 9th , you may drop your child off as early as 8:00 AM (but no later than 8:45 am) at the Underground Teen Center. Bus will leave promptly at 8:45 AM. Please send your child with a packed lunch and refillable water bottle, and change of clothesA signed waiver is required to attend trip. If the waiver is not signed prior to the day of the trip, your tween will not be able to attend and parents will be called.NOTE: End time of the Trip is approximate time bus should arrive back. Time is subject to change.Get ready for a day of culture creativity, and gaming history in Oakland. Teen will explore the Oakland Museum of California (OMCA) where art, history and social movements come together through interactive exhibits and bold storytelling that actually connect to life today. Then teens will head to the Museum of Art and Digital Entertainment (MADE) a totally hands on space where teens can play, learn about and even create video games while discovering how digital entertainment has shaped culture. Its the perfect mix of art tech and inspiration - plus a great chance to see museums in a whole new way. White Water Rafting: Get ready for an unforgettable adventure on the South Fork of the American River! This half day white water rafting trip offers thrilling rapids, beautiful scenery, and expert guidance. Perfect for both beginners. This trip takes you through exciting rapids while you enjoy the stunning natural beauty of the American River.Cancellation-Withdrawal-Transfer Policy: You must cancel or withdraw 14 DAYS before the program starts to receive a credit on your ARPD account, for future use. A $20 service fee will be charged for each class, camp, or program you cancel or withdrawal from. No refunds will be issued for withdrawals made thereafter.
