About Small Wonders Puppet Theater Small Wonders Puppet Theater is a traveling, contemporary puppetry theater dedicated to the promotion of the entertainment, education, and happiness of audiences young and old. Small Wonder has been delighting audiences since 1981 and has performed in a large variety of venues. The Theater’s artistic director, Joan Klasson, is a 35-year veteran elementary art teacher in the Eanes School District, as well as a professional puppeteer. The puppets are handmade, designed and developed by Joan.
