The Great Texas Balloon Race
The 2026 Great Texas Balloon Race & Festival will be held at the Longview Convention Complex June 11-13. Competitive balloon flights are scheduled for the mornings of Friday through Sunday over Longview. Launch and landing sites change each day as they are always determined by wind and the weather. Musical entertainment will take place Friday & Saturday afternoon with gates opening at 4 pm.
