Veteran’s Weekend “Heroes & Hot Rods” Car Show 2026

The Veteran’s Weekend “Heroes & Hot Rods” Car Show is a two-day, family friendly automotive event celebrating its 20th anniversary. In 2025 approximately 400 vehicles were on display on the car show field at this Bastrop Area Cruisers event. On the Friday night, watch the “hot rods” Cruise-In on Main Street in Downtown Bastrop. On, Saturday, the Veterans’ Tribute march and ceremony will be held honoring those who have served or are currently serving our country in the military. Well over 75% of the proceeds from the event go to many local and central Texas Veteran support organizations. The remainder goes to automotive technology scholarships for several Bastrop County high schools and to other local charities (food pantries, homeless resources, children’s organizations, etc.).
