Session 2 Junior Jammers Ukulele Class Wednesday

Strum into the New Year and sign your kiddo up for this fun Ukulele course taught by local musician, Jimmi O. Learn the string names, tuning, play to a steady beat and strum and sing simple songs like Twinkle Twinkle, Hot Cross Buns, Row Row Row Your Boat and You Are My Sunshine. Participants will need to purchase a ukulele for class and regular practice at home. Ukuleles are available for purchase at Bananas at Large, San Rafael, or the Magic Flute, Terrra Linda, or online starting around $65. Jim Olmstead, aka Jimmi O, is a graduate of the Musician’s institute (Hollywood, CA) and a former teacher at the Blue Bear School of Music (San Francisco) and at Marin Horizon School (Mill Valley). Jimmi O makes learning fun and his teaching approach is the distillation of many years performing, songwriting and guiding students to easily play ukulele and sing their favorite songs.
