BK Bones presents: Jurassic Park vs Real Science?

Jurassic Park vs. Real Science? In 1993, the movie Jurassic Park burst on the scene as a cultural phenomenon. While the animation and special effects on screen are riveting, what you see is not always scientifically accurate. Buckle up for a ride through the Mesozoic with paleontologist Bethany Burke Franklin as she helps sort fantasy from facts in the movie. You might be surprised to learn that the facts are even more interesting than the fiction! You’ll also get a peek into what paleontologists actually do and get hands on with real and replica dinosaur bones. This event is designed for teens ages 13 to 18. The event lineup will begin at 1:30 pm, with entry opening at 1:45 pm. Please note that seating is limited and is on a first-come, first-served basis.
