SWAC Art Studio Camp for Kids (Week 3: Collage/Mixed Media)

The SWAC Art Camp for Kids is open to children, ages 9-12(elementary students), who are developing as visual artists. Avariety of art materials are included for visual artists to explore andinclude in their art projects.Each day of camp, we will provide an artist lesson of the day(Week Three focuses on "Collage/Mixed Media Techniques”).The rest of the time is spent in the art studio working on theirindividual projects. Facilitators assist kids in developing an Artist’sPlan. This involves brainstorming interests and ideas in order todecide what project(s) they will work on that day. We revisit plansregularly in order to reflect and make changes as needed.
