Watch your little "Bear Cub" grow and thrive in this structured 2-day drop-off enrichment program designed to help your preschooler explore, experiment, and discover things on their own through a variety of methods that are a mixture of fun and learning! Each session is packed with fun-filled educational activities and festivities! Bear Cub University makes use of a hands-on, weekly-thematic, interactive curriculum that offers social interaction, calendar/circle time, literacy, music/movement, arts & crafts, and community building along with the practice of sight words, numbers, letters, colors, and shapes. Bear Cub participants are taught through both large group instruction and small group "activity station rotation." This program is designed to introduce children to and familiarize children with a TK/Kinder classroom setting. A healthy snack is provided daily. Instructor, Miss Brooke, has a B.A. in Liberal Studies/Elementary Education from San Diego State University. NOTE: Participants may not be enrolled in more than one Preschool/Kinder Enrichment drop-off class (Bear Cub University, or Miss Michelle's Tiny Tots) per session. Children must be potty trained to attend.
