RARE Learning: Junior Newsroom Summer Camp

This workshop immerses students in the world of video journalism as they create their own news bulletin. Guided by a professional instructor, participants will develop segments including a studio anchor, breaking news reports, investigative journalism, entertainment updates, and a weather forecast. They’ll refine storytelling, interviewing, and performance skills. At the end of the camp, the instructor will compile all the segments, allowing participants to see their complete news bulletin."For video-based workshops, the final film will be shared privately with participating families via a secure video link. This video will not be publicly distributed by RARE Learning without obtaining additional permission, and families are kindly asked not to repost or publicly share it in order to protect the privacy of all participating students. Please also note that across all classes, students will be assigned different responsibilities at the instructor's discretion — this is intentional and part of the learning experience."
